Hope for Tanzania

The Country of Tanzania

Added 26 November 2014

* National elections are being held in October 2015 for the president, prime minister and MPs. Please pray for peace in the period up to and following the election especially as a new constitution is being voted upon and the tensions in Zanzibar can flare up into violence as religous extremists seek independence.
* Young people to retain an interest in Christian matters despite the pressure of technology and the internet. For skilled communicators and youth workers to show them that being a disciple of Jesus is compatible with education and development.
* Creation of employment opportunities for people in manufacturing industries and in engineering that will create wealth for the country
* Reduction in the endemic corruption so that justice and righteousness can triumph over personal financial gain.
